Characters: Signless, Disciple, Dolorosa, Helmsman and Psii [CLOSED]
Date: Any time from Dolorosa's arrival to the present
Format: Whichever!
Content Warnings: None for now
Summary: Life in the holy bros hive
It's not the easiest of arrangements, each of them having different rooms to stay in scattered about, but they've made it work somehow. Helmsman tucked in comfortably in a bed and Di and Signless bedding down on the floor next to him along with frequent visits to Psii to make sure that he's okay. And then Dolorosa arrived and took charge of mothercluckbeasting all of them, and with the amount of time they all spend trying to be close to each other...well. They're going to need to step up their efforts at getting their own place.
But in the meantime they're together, and that makes just about anything bearable.
((ooc: go ahead and post individual threads, just mark the where and when and whether they're open to the whole family or meant for someone in particular!))

When Dolorosa arrives?
But no, exhausted as he was, his guardian was out there. On her way, hopefully, and he was pacing impatiently. Listening for once, rather than rush out to find her. He kept telling himself that this place was safer, kinder than where they came from. It didn't really help that much though.

The door is thrown open, and she rushes to embrace Signless as hard as she can.

His gasps harshly against her shoulder, wrapping his bandaged arms tightly around her. The grip of his hands is far weaker by comparison, but that doesn't stop him from curling his fingers into her cloak.
The greatest torture had been not knowing what had become of her. The highbloods had been more than happy to give him various, horrible ideas, all of which are tearing through his mind and heart right now.

The 20th, Open to the whole family
[It's during one of these outings that she returns. All the groceries and clothing are in her sylladex, but in her hands... There are some papers. Heading to their small kitchen, she begins to organize things even as she calls out into the rest of the house.]
I have returned. I know some of you have been feeling restless, so I looked into a few opportunities, if you're interested. Also, I managed to have enough on my person to purchase a few delectable treats. We can have them after our dinner.

Doeth uther require athithtanthe with thupplieth?

If you are positive of your ability to multiclass and your current constitution, then I would not disagree with help.
[She taps one nail on a piece of paper as she turns to put away some jelly in the fridge.]
I also believe I have found something that is perhaps helpful in keeping your mind busy and active if that is something you are interested in. I believe you expressed some desire to help around the hive.

Thythtem ith programmed for multitathking.
[Psionics move everything to the fridge and cabinets in twos. He only pauses in editing code to look at the papers. He then shows his mirror, upon which are the relevant quests. God forbid he make a decision himself.]
The following are motht thuited to Thythtem'th capabilitieth.
"Lost Password" Yoghl of the Docks
"Customs Paperwork" City Customs Office
Thythtem may altho perform labor.
"Plumbing Problem" Eridan Ampora, Municipal Inspector
"Graffiti Problem" Lorriswarkin, the Speaker of Darstone
Thythtem may altho accompany emithary mithion to indigenouth tribe.
"Diplomatic Immunity" Lorriswarkin, the Speaker of Darstone
[He's piloted Condesce to so many planets so she could issue her generally cordial welcomes. It isn't until later she sends Cavalreapers to lay waste to them. That's how diplomacy works, right?]

Hello, Rosa! [The smile only grows bigger at the mention of treats, and she's soon busy sniffing the air to try and guess what she brought for them. She also knows that any more than sniffing will result in some very pointed looks and possibly the treats being withheld for a while longer.
Distracting herself from the thoughts of sweets is a good idea just about now.]
Opportunities? What kind of opportunities? [She takes a seat next to her, instinctively leaning against her side for comfort as she looks over the papers.]
no subject
Some minor temporary occupations around the city which I believe should be safe enough, along with the quests we have all been informed of. They seem to be very simple tasks which needs doing in most cases. I have already contacted someone to fill one of these tasks myself in exchange for what I believe will be very useful items, so tomorrow will find me absent for a sort while while I collect some items.
However- [Don't mind the echo, Disciple, she's just putting things away in the cupboards now, which may mean sticking hear head in there a bit.] You are quite our little artist at certain times which I mean to say is all the time, are you not, Di?

Opportunities which would keep a restless little wriggling grub such as yourself rather occupied.

Meeting AU Psii. Before Dolorosa arrived? Open.
[He allowed Signless and Disciple to tend to his organic needs, as he had designated them temporary system administrators. But he is still very wary of strangers. He gives a start in bed when he sees a pink-fleshed alien enter the temporary respiteblock.]
Uthername?
no subject
Alhen shuts the door behind him and is sure to be calm as he removes his gun holsters and sets them on a table. Best to show he's unarmed with the state the other is in.
He opens his mouth to respond, but pauses. No, hiding it would just make things more awkward than it needs to be.]
Captor. Human. Thadly I've yet to acquire a uthername here, and it'th been far too long thince I uthed the one I had at home.
[A slight quirk of amusement, even though he knows very well the other more than likely didn't mean it literally. His knowledge of the whole situation is still limited, so he doesn't want to make an presumptions.]
no subject
[That makes "Captor" his desired username. He feels a throb in his head at that name and winces a little. It's his, but he can't (won't?) remember it.]
Uthername cannot be thtored due to corrupt data. Pleathe thelect another.

(Re)introducing himself to Dolorosa. 15th? Open.
Uthername?
no subject
I have been told you are currently experiencing some sort of complicated computer issues with... usernames. So perhaps if we stick to something of considerably less length than my official title, you will remember it with a bit more success and we can work our way up from there. Will 'Rim' do?
[Her tongue rolls just a bit on the 'r'. Signless used to chirp it out to her, and while she's not sure why he would call his "lusus" such a thing, it's always seem to stuck, and those close to them have known it.]
May I come closer?
no subject
Uthername "Rim" thtored. Who gave uther Rim information about Helmthman Thythtem?
[He doesn't know the tealblood he spoke with on the mirror was hiding her more jade-colored feelings. Helmsman may admonish against her impersonation, but decisions on who gets culled ultimately do not lie with him.]
Uther Rim may not touch Thythtem.
[She didn't even say she was going to touch him, but the fear is there.]

Chilling out in the living room some time after Dolorosa's arrival - open
no subject
Dolorosa settles down onto the pile with all of her usual grace, even if it so happens that she's rather tired. Trying to look after everyone in the hive, get used to a new world, and constantly venture out as sneakily as possible to make sure everything is alright around that hive tends to do that to her.
"What are you drawing, Di?" she asks, sweeping some hair away from Disciple's face.
no subject
Still, it's a good sign that she's taking the time to sit down and rest a little, and she intends to keep her next to her as long as she can.
"Us," she replies, tilting the book so that Dolorosa can see the nearly done drawing of the four of them camping, Signless with his head on Di's shoulder and one hand gesturing in the air as he speaks, Psii sitting across from them and leaning forward to hear him (with a few bees inexplicably buzzing around his head) and then Dolorosa herself, quietly mending something with a faint smile on her lips as she listens as well. Just as Di remembers them before they all ended up here.

[This whole process is baffling to him.]
Ith uther Di making a new code?
no subject
[She shifts rather pointedly on the cushions, leaving a Psii-sized spot right next to her.]
No, I'm not coding, I'm drawing.
